Comprehensive Annual Financial Report

The information in the CAFR has not been updated for developments subsequent to the date of the independent auditor's report.  Page 16 of the 2004 report was changed on February 22, 2006 due to the discovery of a typographical transposition. (PDF document, 6.21 MB, 200 pages)

The Controller also oversees the processing of payroll, accounts payable, and Barrett Law project debt, prepares the City Budget, is responsible for issuing licenses and investing City funds, and compiles the accounting data to prepare the annual financial reports.

 

Notice to Taxpayers of Marion County of Tax Rates Charged

Notice is hereby given that the tax duplicates for the several taxing units of Marion County, for the year 2006 payable in 2007 are now in the hands of the County Treasurer, who is ready to receive the taxes charged thereon.  The following table shows the rate of taxation on each $100 worth of taxable real and personal property.  First installment delinquent after August 10, 2007.  Second installment delinquent after November 13, 2007.

Notice: Due to the State ordered reassessment, the published rates for 2006 payable 2007 have been invalidated and will be unavailable until the reassessment has been completed.
