Employment Opportunities

Any person who accepts employment with the City of Indianapolis or Marion County or any special service or special taxing district thereof, must have his/her place of residence within the limits of Marion County or become a resident of the county within six (6) months of the date when he/she accepts employment.
Our job postings are updated daily by 5:00 pm and reflect the most current information.

Office hours for applications are as follows:

Mondays: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Thursdays: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Fridays: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Applicants are welcome to submit a resume, via e-mail, for posted positions which do not require any pre-employment testing or a valid driver's license (as indicated in the job description).

Resumes that are submitted via e-mail for positions which require pre-employment testing or a valid driver's license, (as indicated in the job description), will not be processed or reviewed for employment.
