 A zoning history consists of a letter stating the current zoning district status, any building or zoning code violations, as well as, any zoning and variance petitions or commitments pertaining to the property.

To receive a zoning history letter, submit a request, which should include a legal description and scaled site plan, and a check for $85.00, made payable to the City of Indianapolis. Additional fees will be assessed for research for a zoning history letter for $85.00 per  hour after the first hour of research.
