The Indianapolis Division of Planning has completed an update of the I-65/County Line Road Strategic Plan.
The I-65/County Line Road Strategic Plan was adopted by the Metropolitan Development Commission on December, 17th 2008 as the official land use Plan of Record for the vicinity of Interstate 65’s interchange with County Line Road. As the official Plan of Record, the Metropolitan Development Commission and the Boards of Zoning Appeals must take the Plan’s recommendation into consideration which making decisions on rezoning and variance petitions.
The Strategic Plan is a guide for anyone making a decision about the use of a property. It is useful for property owners, developers, neighbors and neighborhood organizations, City staff, and City boards and commissions. The Strategic Plan will be used to evaluate rezoning applications, to project future population and employment concentrations, and prioritize capital improvements to roads and sewers.
