Department of Minority & Women Business Development

From the Director

Director Gregory L. Wilson The City of Indianapolis is a place where entrepreneurs can look forward to great opportunities and a diverse economic climate. At the Department of Minority & Women Business Development, we strive to make those opportunities available to all business owners through certification, education, and outreach. Thanks to the work of this Department and City officials, minority-, women-, veteran-, and disability-owned businesses can expect equal access to contract opportunities from the City, County and even privately-funded projects in Central Indiana.

If you are thinking about becoming certified, please give our office a call at 317-327-5262, or email us at DMWBD@indy.gov for more information. Our staff is available to discuss certification, contract opportunities, and general business practices five days a week. If you are looking for qualified contractors for your special project, check out our certified Vendor Profile Application at: www.indy.gov/VendorProfiles.
