Indy Parks Forestry is dedicated to the education of the community and creating an awareness of the importance of our urban forest.
Each year, seminars and workshops for the tree professional, the public, neighborhood groups and staff are conducted to develop and increase knowledge of the Community Forest.
| Each April, the City celebrates Arbor Day by offering tree plantings and speaking events that reach thousands of local youth and adults.
