Each year, our residents are faced with adverse weather conditions.  Often, these poor conditions affect the trees in our urban forest.

Indy Parks Forestry is responsible for responding to street and park tree emergencies.  Forestry crews, certified and trained in emergency work, are available at all times.

Our goals are to ensure public safety, to provide rapid response to emergencies, and to offer professional, courteous services to all Indianapolis residents.

CAPABILITIES

Indy Parks Forestry is equipped with the most up-to-date and modern equipment capable of handling any tree emergency.  This includes large capacity cranes, aerial life devices and small equipment ready at a moment's notice to provide services in the event of a tree emergency.

We prioritize blocked roads by the following:

c) Secondary streets
d) Improved alleys
