Alliances. Partnerships. Sponsorships.
How does Indy Parks continue to provide more, diverse programs and services to a growing Indianapolis population without the resources to do so?
|
The Alliances. Partnerships. Sponsorships. program fills the void between service delivery and necessary resources. By forming mutually beneficial partnerships with local organizations and businesses, Indy Parks is able to expand its reach, and extend its services into all corners of the county. |

ALLIANCES
In 2005 Indy Parks had more than 90,000 volunteer hours! Many large organizations, like the National Federation of High Schools perform annual beautification projects. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the department for people of all ages.
PARTNERSHIPS
Indy Parks partners with organizations throughout the city to achieve like-minded goals and mutually beneficial relationships. In 2005, the agency partnered with the Children's Museum to help create "Camp Creepy" - a life-like, nature-filled haunted house. Some of our other partners include the Marion County Public Library, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB), the NCAA Stay in Bounds program, and the Marion County Health Department.

SPONSORSHIPS Businesses such as Lowe's and Safeco Insurance have sponsored park revitalization efforts at several neighborhood parks, investing thousands of dollars in local communities. |
