All camps are student-only camps; parents are welcome to enjoy the park and facilities. Siblings are not allowed unless they are registered and of the same age group. Camps tend to fill up fast so register early. All campers except those attending 3-5 year-old camps need to bring a sack lunch with them each day. All campers should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, and extra old clothes every day. Gate fee for Eagle Creek Park is waived for registered campers - you will receive a gate pass.

Take your fledgling to Bird Camp! Together, we’ll learn all about birds by exploring the park’s trails, meeting live birds up close, playing with puppets, creating crafts, and singing songs!

Junior Jays Ages 6-8
In this camp, your child will learn to use binoculars and simple field guides to identify birds in the park, at the feeders, and inside the Ornithology Center. Throughout the week, campers will be doing a variety of crafts, games, and hikes. They will even get to know our live birds of prey!

Rockin' Robins Ages 9-11
Your little flappers will learn about birds through a varity of activities including canoeing, fishing, insect safries, and of course, birdwatching. This camp offers a unique blend of hands-on learing, games, animals encounters, and team building. We will be hiking daily in this camp.

Fantastic Flyers Ages 12-15

Awaken and build upon your child’s natural curiosity for nature in this camp. Whether it is feeling soft moss, smelling bark, or looking for birds in the trees, campers will use their senses as we happily hike! (Camp will not meet on Monday due to Memorial Day holiday.)

It’s time to hit the trail for some adventure! Eagle Creek Park offers some of the best hiking in Indianapolis! In this camp we will be learning about nature and exploring everywhere from the creeks to the cove! Make sure students wear good walking shoes. (Camp will not meet on Monday due to Memorial Day holiday.)

Join us as we explore the streams around us! We will be taking a close look at the animals that call the waterways home. This camp is loaded with activities such as, creek stomping, hiking, swimming, wildlife programs, nature crafts, and so much more. Come prepared to get wet and have fun!

Strive to Survive I
This is a hands-on, fun-filled week of camp. Learn various survival techniques and wilderness tips to help you on your next outdoor adventure! We will be using compasses, building shelters, finding wild edibles, hiking, fishing, canoeing, and swimming!

Eagle Creek Adventure Camp
Get ready for a week of fun adventures at Eagle Creek Park! We will hike, fish, swim, and canoe in this camp while developing our knowledge of nature.
