DESCRIPTION
Stay for the day at Eagle Creek, one of the largest municipal park in the United States! If the almost 1,400 acres of water don't entice you, the over 3,900 acres of dry land activities will.

J.K. Lilly (Eli Lilly & Company) owned the land and gave it to Purdue University in the late 1950's. The University later sold the land to the city of Indianapolis. An earthen dam was built to control flooding and the result is how we know Eagle Creek today.

Come sailing, windsurfing, or bird watching, and you will forget you are only 10 minutes from downtown of the 12th largest city in the country.
