Description
Frank Young (1873-1967), an Indianapolis native, began his ministry in 1892. In 1907 he joined the pastorate of the First Baptist Church North Indianapolis where he remained for the next 60 years.Young lived to be 94 years old, and left a legacy of leadership and social concern for the betterment of the Indianapolis community. The park was acquired in 1922, and is 1.7 acres.
