Grassy Creek Regional Park includes three separate parcels of land. Two of these parcels, Grassy Creek and German Church & 30th Street, were already parks, and the third parcel of land is a 47.9 acres which was gifted to Indy Parks in 2006 from CAFÉ (Community Alliance for the Far Eastside). Major improvements have been made recently to Grassy Creek Park. The improvements include a water spray ground, $175,000 funded by United Water, a Restroom/Comfort Station, $200,000 funded by Lilly Endowment and a new state-of-the-art playground, $225,000 funded by the City of Indianapolis.
