Description
This "mini" park sits on .28 acres of land and was acquired in 1997.  It is named after Freeman B. Ransom, an influential African-American lawyer, businessman and civic activist who made his home in Indianapolis in 1910.  Ransom was the force behind the success of the Madame C.J. Walker Company.  Ransom was also a member of the City-County Council and the NAACP.
