Description
Kessler Park was named after George E. Kessler, a landscape architect who was recruited to create a cohesive system of parks in Indianapolis and other cities during the "City Beautiful" period of the early 1900s. The Kessler System identified six waterways in the city and provided plans for boulevards and bridges linking them together as a means of bringing natural beauty into the increasingly urban landscape.

This park overlooks Fall Creek.
