HISTORY
Eagle Creek Park is one of the largest city parks in the U.S.A.  It encompasses over 4,000 acres of upland and lowland woods, many meadows, and ponds.  Additionally, a 1,300 acre reservoir is a great resource for both wildlife and recreation. Throughout the park, numerous shelters, playgrounds, a marina, a beach and the new Earth Discovery Center provide opportunities to both experience and learn about the natural environment around us. The Eagle Creek Earth Discovery Center overlooks the reservoir in the heart of Eagle Creek.  The Center has exhibits, a stunning view of the reservoir, access to miles of trail around the reservoir, and easy access to the park's diverse habitats.
