The Indy Parks Environmental Education naturalists can bring nature to your classroom, daycare, youth service organization, day camp and more!

All programs are developed based on the Indiana Academic Standards and can be customized to complement individual classroom or group lesson plans and curriculum.

Spanish language programs can be accommodated based on Naturalist's schedule.  Please contact Michele Conyer for more information or for scheduling.

WATERS EDUCATION TRAILER

The Waters Education Trailer is a state-of-the-art mobile nature center that travels from site to site providing a unique environmental education experience for the people of Central Indiana. It currently is the only one of its kind in the United States, and was funded by a grant from the United Water Co.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

The Indy Parks Environmental Education Outreach Naturalist staff can compliment your community event with either the Waters Education Trailer or a booth.  In keeping with our core mission, Outreach Naturalist staff are dedicated to providing quality environmental awareness to the community.  Through participation at community events, Outreach naturalists seek to encourage nature based opportunities,and exploring the natural world as well as developing a sense of community with our environment.
