Joe Schmid, manager

Situated along the banks of the White River, Holliday Park is one of Indianapolis' oldest and largest parks.  It encompasses 95 acres of environmentally diverse, yet accessible woodlands, including natural springs, wetlands, a spring-fed pond, and more than 400 tree, plant, and wildflower species.

With the addition of the Holliday Park Nature Center in April 2000, the park presents an ideal site for learning about the environment and nature.  The Nature Center consists of 13,000 square feet of interactive exhibits, classrooms, auditorium, wildlife observation areas, nature history library, native prairie plots, extensive native and landscaped gardens, boardwalks, picnic area, and a playground.  A unique architectural structure known as 'the ruins" includes fountains, statues and ornamental landscaping.

Location:
Holliday Park is located between 63rd Street and 64th Street at Spring Mill Road.
