Holiday Wishes from Animal Care & Control


INDIANAPOLIS – The City of Indianapolis Animal Care & Control Division will host their 1st holiday donation drive.

WHEN:
10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, December 18

WHERE:
Indianapolis Animal Care & Control
2600 S. Harding St.

To assist Indianapolis Animal Care & Control in caring for the nearly 17,000 lost, unwanted and abandoned animals it receives each year, the shelter is asking for the community’s help in donating new or used items on it’s holiday “Wish List.”

“Wish List” items include:

  • Blankets
  • Large bath towels
  • Beach towels
  • High quality dog and cat food
  • Cat litter
  • Leashes
  • KongÔ toys for dogs
  • Peanut butter
  • AdvantageÔ topical flea treatment
  • Whisk brooms
  • Dustpans
  • Dog crates
  • Cat carriers

Monetary donations will also be accepted and will allow Indianapolis Animal Care & Control to carry on its work of protecting animals and fostering a high quality of life for animals and people in our community.

Tours and refreshments will be provided.
