INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Animal Care & Control (IACC) will host its first legislative open house for all city-county councilors and Indiana state legislators:
WHEN: Saturday, August 21, 2004 12-2pm
WHERE: Indianapolis Animal Care & Control 2600 S. Harding St.
This event will offer an opportunity to educate lawmakers about the valuable role IACC plays in the community as well as raise the awareness of important social issues such as spaying and neutering and pet overpopulation.
“Our intent is to showcase Indianapolis Animal Care & Control and provide detailed information about the agency including the mission, vision and goals as well as receive comments and answer questions,” said IACC administrator Jeff Bennett.
The legislative open house will feature tours, refreshments, displays, copies of the 2003 IACC Annual Report and a meet-and-greet of the IACC management team.
