Mufasa is a neutered three-year-old orange tabby cat. Mufasa came to the shelter in November as a stray and is looking for a forever family to call his own!

Bruno is a neutered two-year-old pit bull mix who also came to the shelter in November as a stray. He currently resides in the front office at Animal Care & Control and is working on his social skills with the shelter staff. He’d be a great addition to any family without younger children.
Indianapolis Animal Care and Control's adoption fee is $60.00 for all animals. This includes the spay/neuter surgery, all age-appropriate vaccinations (except rabies), a microchip, a heartworm test (dogs) or FLV/FIV test (cats) and all the unconditional love a rescued friend can give.
Did you know your city shelter needs your help? Volunteers are a critical asset to the operations of Indianapolis Animal Care & Control and provide much-needed support to its limited staff. Volunteers help with everything from dog walking to cage cleaning to adoption assistance at offsite events.
