The function of the Quartermaster Division for the Indianapolis Fire Department is to provide service to Fire/EMS personnel through proper evaluation, management, and distribution of station wear and
Personal Protection Equipment.
Personnel safety is maintained as the number
one priority of the Quartermaster Division.
This consideration is forefront when
determining purchases that are to be made.
The Quartermaster Division works in conjunction with the Safety Committee to determine which items are the “best fit” for personnel of the
Indianapolis Fire Department.”
