Northwest District officers provide uniformed field patrol and investigative services to the northwest area   of Indianapolis.  With its headquarters building at 3821 Industrial Boulevard, the District is staffed with approximately 200 sworn and 10 civilian employees and is under the direction of Commander Peter Mungovan.  The District covers about 66 square miles with a 2000 population estimate of 138,524.
