The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department's Service District is divided into six districts:

District Headquarters Locations and Commanders:

North District: 3120 East 30th Street - Commander Tom Koppel

Northwest District: 3821 Industrial Boulevard - Commander Peter Mungovan
Southeast District: 1150 S. Shelby Street - Commander Ronald Hicks

Northwest District: 138,524 population; 66 square miles
