In the summer of 2005, the Indianapolis Department of Public Works launched its Latino Outreach Initiative in an effort to help foster relations with the fastest growing population in Indianapolis.
DPW hopes to accomplish several things through this outreach effort. First, DPW will be working with neighborhood and business leaders to schedule quarterly community clean-ups. As part of this effort, litter prevention signs will be posted throughout neighborhoods to encourage residents to continue their beautification efforts.
In addition, DPW has created Spanish-language brochures that are available in print and online. Staff will also attend various Latino events around Indianapolis.

To report a problem with city services, please call the Mayor's Action Center at (317) 327-4622.
