82nd Street Widening and Improvement Project

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is moving forward on plans to widen and improve E 82nd Street from Hague Road to Fall Creek Road. The E 82nd Street Improvement Project exists in two phases: Phase 1 from Hague Road to Lantern Road, and Phase 2 from Lantern Road to Fall Creek Road.

The infrastructure improvements include widening the corridor from two to four travel lanes; street resurfacing; the addition and repair of sidewalks, curbs and ADA-compliant access ramps; drainage improvements where needed; and necessary bridge maintenance.

Download the Project Fact Sheet in the sidebar for details on project status, anticipated construction period, estimated project cost and more.
