The Department of Public Works is a major partner in the City-wide effort to enhance the quality of life for our citizens and visitors through the beautification of our public spaces. In addition to work that includes visual enhancements to contracted public works projects, DPW partners with not-for-profit organizations, such as Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and Indianapolis Downtown, Inc., to fund and support median adoption, downtown flowers and seasonal decorative lighting.
DPW also partners with corporate sponsors to landscape and clean-up special areas, such as the Crawfordsville Road Gateway, the 29th and 30th Street Gateways near The Children's Museum, the 38th Street Gateway, and The White River.
