Equal Employment Opportunity Policy

It is the policy of the City of Indianapolis and Marion County to provide equal opportunity to employees and candidates for employment. This policy is applicable to the policies governing recruitment, placement, selection, promotion, transfer, rates of pay, benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment.

In an effort to provide a diverse applicant pool from which to select qualified candidates for City and County positions, the City of Indianapolis and Marion County solicit external applicants via the internet, newspaper advertisements, professional publications, colleges and universities, community organizations, supported employment groups, job fairs, and other recruiting efforts.
