Request for Project Proposals – Urban Agriculture
The City of Indianapolis, Department of Metropolitan Development (DMD) will be accepting proposals for projects to be part of the 2015 U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Entitlement Programs. The Request
for Proposal (RFP) process will commence on April 6th, 2015 and end 12:00pm on May 18th, 2015.  Award announcements are anticipated to be made the week of June 8th, 2015.
This Request for Project Proposals seeks to transform formerly underutilized or vacant land and/or buildings into economically viable urban farms or urban agriculture related businesses. These proposed projects will provide connections to fresh produce for surrounding communities and allow for nutritional education in neighborhoods
considered food deserts. Project proposals will address National Objectives for the CDBG as defined by HUD, and local priorities identified by the City of Indianapolis to support urban agriculture investment and redevelopment.

The City of Indianapolis Metropolitan Development Commission (MDC) is accepting public comments on the draft Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) for environmental response activities for a planned high-rise mixed-use residential and commercial project on land located at 360 East Market Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46204, Parcel #1071550.
The ABCA describes additional environmental response activities to be conducted at the property and funded by a U.S. EPA Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund Grant. Copies of the ABCA will be available for review during regular business hours at the designated Document Repository. The MDC has established a local Document Repository to
make available to the public various documents and other information (administrative record) upon which the final selection of environmental response actions will be based. Documents in the repository will be available for review during regular business hours at the following location:
Written comments may be submitted to the Department of Metropolitan Development, Brownfield Redevelopment Program, from March 18th through and including April 17th. Such written comments should be in an envelope addressed to the City of Indianapolis, Department of
Metropolitan Development, Brownfield Redevelopment Program. Telephone inquiries should be directed to

2015 CDBG Rolling Application-

The Department of Metropolitan Development is accepting rolling applications for the Community Development Block Grant. The applications outline the due dates for each round of funding.

The following  “Request for Qualifications” (RFQ) is official notification of need for professional services for the City of Indianapolis - Department of Metropolitan Development regarding the development of a web-based community data portal in support of the Department’s Plan 2020 initiative and general planning activities.
