(Festival will offer Free Immunizations for children in grades K-12)
Indianapolis - The Indianapolis City County Council will hold its 2nd Annual Kids Health Festival to kick off the 2006 academic school year. In addition to the free immunizations, dental and eye exams will also be offered. Health screenings such as blood pressure and cholesterol checks will be provided at the event as well.
WHEN: Saturday, August 26, 2006
11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
WHERE: Glendale Mall
6101 N. Keystone (Keystone and 62nd Street)
The event will consist of fun and exciting indoor and outdoor activities for children of all ages. Some of the activities will be live dancing and singing as well as clowns, magicians, and face painting.
The Kids Health Festival will be the last opportunity for grade school students to receive free immunizations from the health department before the school year starts. All of the health screenings, and activities are free of charge.
