The Marion County Assessor's Office has field crews physically inspecting every parcel in the County. This means that they are comparing the data that we have on a particular parcel to the physical characteristics of the parcel. In some cases our field staff may be measuring improvements or taking other notes about a property.
County Assessor employees are required to wear a photo id around their neck that identifies them as Marion County Assessor employees. The ID contains their name and title as well as their picture.
