Biography of Joline Ohmart
Joline Ohmart was elected Washington Township Assessor in November 2002.
She attended Stephens College and Graduated from Kansas State University (Bachelor of Science). Her background includes 17 years experience as a RealtorŪ, 13 years in banking, holding several positions including chief financial officer, and 7 years with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis.
In all of her career she has taken advantage of job-related educational opportunities and is continuing to do so as Assessor.She has achieved her Level II Assessor State Certification.
Joline is active in local political organizations and community activities. She is a long-time member of Northminster Presbyterian Church.
She has lived in Washington Township since coming to Indianapolis in 1967. Prior to that she lived in Kansas and Florida. She is committed to insuring that taxpayers are assessed fairly, and that accurate property information is easily available to the public.
