Homestead Verification Forms

Homestead Deductions and Verification: As required by law, the Auditor’s Office removed homestead deductions in early 2014 for which property owners failed to verify the homestead deductions in 2011, 2012 and 2013. A qualifying owner may still be able to verify his or her homestead deduction.

Change in Primary Residence and Transfer/Removal of Homestead Deductions:​ If you have property with a homestead deduction and it is no longer your primary residence, Indiana law requires that you file the following certified statement within 60 days of the change in use.
