Thousands of community activists and volunteers are needed to run a successful election in Indianapolis. Nearly 3,000 people are needed to work at the polls in addition to several hundred more who work behind the scenes.
As you can see, encouraging Marion County residents to play an active role in elections is critical to the health of our democracy. That's why the Marion County Election Board created the 'Friends of Democracy.'
Best of luck...and thanks for demonstrating that democracy is not a spectator sport!
