Friend of Democracy Online Pledge Card

Democracy is not a spectator sport! We pledge to do all or some of the following to become a Friend of Democracy:

(Information for any field with an asterisk(*) is required)

Recruit Inspectors to serve at the polls on Election Day
Help recruit Election Day support staff (i.e. supply runner, hotline operator,etc.)
Recruit Clerks or Judges to serve on Election Day
Remind Marion County voters to update voter registration records
Speak to other civic groups or neighborhood organizations about participating in the upcoming election
Send an email to group members/employees with election reminders (examples available on this site)
Remind Marion County voters to 'know where to vote' by confirming the location of their polling place
Drive voters to the polls on Election Day or to early voting sites
Volunteer at a senior community to help voters fill out an absentee ballot application
Publish articles in your organization's newsletter (ready to run articles available on this site)
Tell people about voting early if they can't make it to he polls on Election Day
Invite a member of the Election Board staff to speak to your organization
Become a fan of the Election Board on Facebook and/or follow @MCEBindy on twitter
