Upcoming Deadlines (NOT a comprehensive list):
  • Tuesday, October 9, 2018 - Deadline, by 11:59pm, to update voter registration information for the 2018 General Election.
  • Wednesday, October 10, 2018 - In-Person Early Voting begins in the Clerk's Office.
  • Friday, October 12, 2018 - End of the pre-general election campaign finance reporting period.
  • Friday, October 19, 2018 - NOON Deadline: Pre-General campaign finance report for all candidates, PACs and regular party committees. 
  • Friday, October 26, 2018 - In-Person Early Voting begins at Satellite Sites. Click here to see the times and locations for the Satellite Sites.
  • Monday, October 29 -Deadline, by 11:59pm, to submit an application (ABS-MAIL) to vote absentee by mail for the 2018 General Election.

Polling locations are subject to change in each election. The mayor’s office selects the sites and certifies the list to the Marion County Election Board no later than 29-days before an election. Be election ready and know where you go to vote! Here are some resources for voters, including the interactive Voter Information Portal:
Voter Registration

Voters are reminded they must update their voter registration EVERY TIME they move or change their name. Voters can register for the first time or update their registration by going to Voter registration for the 2018 General Election ends 11:59pm, Tuesday, October 9, 2018.

Central Count of Absentee Ballots
