Marion County Clerk expands
child support payment options

Online payment option now available on Clerk’s Web site

INDIANAPOLIS – Marion County Clerk Beth White announced today that parents are now able to make their child support payments on-line by using debit or credit cards.

“Last year we expanded our child support payment services by offering a 24-hour payment hotline thanks to the assistance of GovPayEXP, “ Clerk White said. “This was the first step in our public-private partnership and it has proven to be beneficial to our clients. We’re excited to add this secure Web-based payment option to make it even easier for parents to financially support their children.”

In Marion County, users can visit www.indy.gov/clerk and follow the link on the home page to make an online child support payment. Residents can also call the 24-hour, toll-free payment hotline at (888) 604-7888. Only Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit or debit cards are accepted. There is a nominal fee to use both services.

Parents using the telephone or on-line payment options should be prepared to provide the following information:

• Last four digits of the social security number of the person making the payment
• Name of payee
• Indiana Support Enforcement Tracking System (ISETS) case number
• Type of payment: docket fee or child support

In addition to the online and telephone option, parents can make cash payments in-person at the Marion County Clerk’s Child Support Division office located downtown in the City-County Building. Business hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
