 About Myla Eldridge

​For those who don’t know her, Myla Eldridge is a dedicated public servant who has almost a decade of experience in the Marion County Clerk’s Office.
Prior to her election as County Clerk, Myla served as a Team Leader in the Clerk’s office managing special outreach programs such as the “yVote” initiative for students, Voter Experience Project community outreach, and the voter registration program for newly naturalized citizens.
Myla also represented Clerk White in numerous forums, such as serving as proxy on the Marion County Enhanced Access Review Committee and at the weekly T.A.G. subcommittee of Criminal Justice Planning Committee convened after spikes in crime in 2006.
Prior to her Clerk’s Office service, Myla served as Director for the Marion County Election Board from January 1, 2012 – July 1, 2013, conducting the 2012 Presidential Primary and General Elections. From 2007-2012, Myla served as Deputy Director for the Marion County Election Board. In that capacity, she was charged with leading the essential tasks of recruitment and training of poll workers. In addition, she has served as the liaison to the community speaking frequently about the voting process and Election issues throughout Marion County.
From 2001-2006, Myla served the City of Indianapolis in the Peterson administration as an Executive Associate in Economic Development and Cultural Tourism.
Myla previously served in the Indiana Department of Commerce in the Frank O’Bannon administration as an Information Specialist for the International Trade Division and in the Joe Kernan administration as the Communications and Education Specialist for Indiana Main Street and Tourism Division.
Myla formerly served as the Executive Director for NICSC – The Northeast Indianapolis Community Service Corporation and was on the Board for The Concerned Clergy of Indianapolis, Inc.
Myla is a native of Indianapolis who graduated from Indianapolis Public Schools, John Marshall High School and attended Lockyear Business College.
