  • Filing Fee: $161.00*
  • Publication (check or money order only) – choose one:
         Court & Commercial Record: $82.00,  or
         Indianapolis Recorder: $80.00, or
         Indianapolis Star: $124.00

A supervised estate filing should include

Note: The numbers in parentheses indicate how many copies of each document the Clerk will keep. In most cases this will be the original document. It is recommended that attorneys provide additional copies sufficient to their needs for processing by the clerk staff.

  • Instructions – Personal Representative of Supervised Estate*(1)
  • Appearance (1)
  • Will (original plus 1)
  • Petition (1)
  • Consent (1)
  • Bond
  • Oath* (1)
  • Letters* (1)
  • Notice of Administration *(3)
  • Clerk Certificate of Mailing *(1)
    For estates, if you want the clerk staff to send out the notices you will need to provide pre-addressed envelopes with First Class postage affixed.
  • Notice of Administration* (2) Per Heir/Creditor for Service (if individually addressed to distributees)
  • Order (2)
