With a quorum present, Advisory Board Chairman, David Cook, called the meeting to order at 12:04 P.M.
Approval of Board Minutes
Advisory Board Chairman, David Cook, asked for a motion to approve the Board minutes from the April 19th 2007 meeting.
The motion was moved and seconded and the April 19th meeting minutes were approved.
Approval of National Institute of Correction Technical Assistance Application
Advisory Board Chairman, David Cook, recognized Brian Barton as he discussed the application for NIC Technical Assistance. Brian discussed the NIC evaluation and that at this time there is no financial obligation. Brian stated that Department of Corrections did the audit for Marion County Community Corrections. Brian then introduced Andy Fogle from Marion County Justice Agency. Andy stated that the NIC will send an on site person to evaluate Marion County Community Corrections. He said that NIC will provide a good solid problematic review evaluation.
Questions and answers ensued concerning the NIC Technical Assistance Application.
Advisory Board Chairman, David Cook, asked for a motion to approve the NIC Technical Assistance Application. The motion was moved and seconded and the NIC Technical Assistance Application was approved.
There being no more business before the Board the meeting was adjourned at 12:15 P.M.
