The motion was moved and seconded and the power of an Executive Director to spend up to twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) without Advisory Board approval was rescinded.

Discussion of Hiring New Executive Director

Judge Young then said he would like to see the job for Executive Director posted at the City County Building Human Resources some time after the Advisory Board meeting on the 7th of August 2008. Judge Young would like a committee formed from Board members to go through the applications and then bring applicants in for an interview.

  Questions and answers ensued.

Judge Young and the Board decided that duties and a job description of an Executive Director must be decided. Judge Young asked Board members to send an email to Drew Carlson with their ideas or comments and Drew will create a spreadsheet of the ideas.
