Alcohol Monitoring

Alcohol monitoring is a program that is used to detect the consumption of alcohol while a client is serving their sentence. Alcohol monitoring is typically used when a client has an alcohol-related case or a history of alcohol-related cases. MEMS 3000 is the equipment that requires the client to blow into the mouthpiece of the MEMS at their home which will detect any alcohol present in their body. Case managers can schedule MEMS tests at any time. Alcohol monitoring can be used in combination with Home Detention, GPS or by itself.
