This division is called the strike team because it is responsible for three (3) areas of crime – drugs, guns and gangs. Most criminal activity is rooted in one of these core areas of crime and vigorous prosecution of these crimes is essential to the safety of the community. The Strike Team partners with various police teams to assist in investigations, arrests, charging decisions, and the ultimate presentation of the case to the court.
