TAG

TAG, or "Take Away Graffiti," is a county-wide effort to rid neighborhoods of graffiti.  The program utilizes the services of adult probationers who have been assigned community work service hours.  Under the supervision of a probation officer, probationers paint over graffiti and gang symbols in neighborhoods.  They can work towards completing their court ordered obligations, and at the same time, beautify Indianapolis.

Prosecutor Brizzi pitches in to wipe out graffiti

"The owners of these houses and businesses are victims," said Prosecutor Brizzi, "and we want to do whatever we can to keep these markings off their property.  We are consistently showing gangs that their graffiti has, at best, a very limited lifespan.  Quick removal of the markings is critical."
