The Training Division of the Marion County Public Defender Agency has been established in order to create a supportive environment for Agency members to meet the challenges faced in our common go

al of representing indigent clients. This challenge shall be met by providing legal and support staff with orientation training, continuing legal education, trial skills and job training, mentoring opportunities, research resources, and ongoing evaluation and feedback.

The Training Division shall be dedicated to improving the overall agency product and the quality of representation to indigent citizens.
