$100 Processing Fee - Effective January 1, 2014

On November 11, 2013, proposal No. 328, 2013 passed out of Full Council, which amends the Municipal Code to provide for a $100 fee to be paid by an applicant to the Marion County Surveyor’s Office for completion of State Form 44184 Verification of Business Location.

The ATC Verification of Business Location Form has been updated by the Alcohol & Tobacco Commission.

Please be sure to submit the new form for processing:

On December 1, 2010, the Marion County Surveyor's Office started processing the ATC Verification of Business Location forms for Marion County per Indiana State Statute. This verification form is required for new and transfer permits as per the ATC cover letter (see link below).

Which states - “An applicant for a New or Transfer permit must also submit the County Verification of Business Location (state form 44184).”

Please Note: We can only process verification forms for addresses located with Marion County.

To Submit this form to the Marion County Surveyor’s Office:

  1. Please complete the top line only with the full street address for the property you are applying for.

  3. Return both documents, with payment to the Marion County Surveyor’s Office by mail or in person.

While we try to process these forms in a timely manner, the time taken is dependent upon the availability of the County Surveyor and staff and can take up to several days. Please allow adequate time for this form to be processed.

 

The Marion County Surveyor’s office does not make any decisions regarding your permit or the boundaries of the special fire district.  Any questions you may have regarding your permit application or the boundaries of the Special Fire District should be directed to the ATC.
