 | Officer Paul P. Miller was shot and killed by two men who had been prowling in the vicinity of a drug store in the 2500 block of North Station Street. Although Officer Miller was wounded, he was able to fire at the suspects. He thought he hit one of them; however, the suspects escaped and were never caught.
