Mayor's 2010 Native American Heritage Days

 

Mayor Ballard's 2010 Native American Days Message

The second annual Heritage Days Event will take place in Indianapolis to celebrate and honor Native American culture in our city.  It will be presented by the Office of Mayor Gregory Ballard in partnership with the Indiana Native American Business Association.  Admission to the event will be free!

Cultural enrichment activities will include Native American art, music, traditional games, crafts, native foods, storytelling, tribal educational booths, health screenings, and tribal educational booths.  The Native American Heritage Days event will be held August 28th from 12 PM to 7 PM and August 29th from 12 PM to 5PM.  The location of the event will be at Garfield Park.
