Membership on subcommittees is not restricted to Mayor's Advisory Council members.  Community participation is always welcome.

July Access and Inclusion Awards Ceremony and Disability Awareness Celebration:

This is an annual event at the Artsgarden. Awards are given in the areas of employment, accessibility and lifetime service to the inclusion of persons with disabilities in Indianapolis. Additionally, local disability service providers are featured at exhibit booths.

Community Emergency Management Plan Participation:

This committee is partnering with the Division of Emergency Management to ensure that Indianapolis's local community emergency plan addresses the needs of individuals with disabilities.

Employer Resource Guide

This committee is creating a specific list of internship, volunteer and employment opportunities in Indianapolis for students and adults with disabilities that employers can use for recruitment.
