Learn How to Build, Strengthen or Expand Summer Programs
Summer is an ideal time for learning, creativity and adventure. Whether you already run a program or are looking for a new avenue to promote youth development, you won’t want to miss the 2010 Summer Changes EverythingTM national conference, November 9-10 in Indianapolis, presented by the National Summer Learning Association.
Mayor Greg Ballard and Senator Richard Lugar serve as honorary co-chairs of the conference’s host committee.
The conference will allow you to join program providers, curriculum developers, school administrators, policymakers, researchers, youth development workers and others who run and support quality summer programs. The conference promises two action-packed days of learning to help you build, strengthen or expand your summer program. Workshop tracks address innovative instructional approaches, knowledge and strategies for summer program providers and policy and funding for systems building.
