Mayor Greg Ballard 
"It continues to be my goal to provide the citizens of Indianapolis with more bike lanes and trails so everyone can safely bike to work, to the grocery and even to events downtown," said Mayor Ballard.
"There is no question that more bicycle traffic on Indy streets means healthier people, cleaner air and less congestion." 


Bikers take off on Michigan St. for the first-ever Mayor's Bike Ride.


Over 500 local residents came out for the inaugural event.
